These games come with my recommendation. I will only list games that I feel are above average and have sufficiently high educational content to be worth playing.

Science Games

• "Cell Craft" a fabulous game about cells (takes a few hours to complete all levels)
• Build and test a bridge design
• Go on a deep sea dive
• A game about the Periodic Table
• Virtual knee replacement surgery for kids
• Weather prediction game
• Virtual Owl Pellet Dissection
• Dissect a frog
• Use architectural blocks to construct a building
• Physics experiment: design a roller coaster
• Experiment with mixing colors the way a television screen does
• Solve simple "Rube Goldberg" puzzles using your engineering ingenuity!

Math Games

• Experiment with balancing number using "Mathcats (grades 5-10)
• Experiment with Lissajous patterns
• The famous "Tower of Hanoi" puzzle

Vocabulary Games

• "Bookworm Adventures" This is a free sample of a word-building game.  The sample is quite substantial and is worth downloading even if you choose not to purchase.  The title might sound a little "corny" but the game itself is very clever and super fun-- almost addicting!
• "Free Rice"  A game where you win free rice (to donate to a poor country) by choosing correct answers on a multipe choice vocabulary quiz.  They have also expanded to include topics other than English vocabulary.  They have French, art, and lots more.
