"En Vacances Autour du Monde"

("On Vacation Around the World" in French)

Target age group:  grades 1-6 for native French-speakers / any age for beginning level French students

Educational content:  Learning about famous places around the world, and where they are located (such as the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Libery, the pryramids, the Sydney Opera House, Niagara Falls, etc.)  Both board and cards are labeled in French.

Time needed to set up:  only about 10 mintues

Time needed to play the game:  anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending upon how many of the task cards you want to use.

Materials needed: scissors, tape, colored pencils, a die (number cube), tokens for players to mover around on the board (paper ones are provided if you want to use them)  NOTE: If you want to draw and color flags you will also need to provide a page of sample flags to copy.
