This category is a bit slim because I don't do a whole lot of teaching on this subject. The biggest resource I have is the complete curricula Excavating English, a history of the English language from 4000 BC to present. (You thought Greek and Latin were the "roots" of English? You need this curriculum!)

"Punctuation Theater"
This is a unit designed for ages 8-12. It's a way to reinforce sentence structure and the use of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases without doing more worksheets. It's ideal for verbal or social learners. A real plus about using this unit with a group is that you don't have to segregate them into ability levels. In my group I had some kids who were barely reading playing alongside some of their peers who were reading at high school level.. And they all had fun and learned something!
